I’m awaiting Eddie Long to admit the same words Jim McGreevey stated in 2004: “I’m a gay American.” Or, will he follow Tom Brock who made a whole bunch of waves by suggesting that a twister was God’s retribution for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America voting to allows for openly gay clergy to serve as ministers. Well… it turns out Tom Brock was outed soon after; yet, he will remain in the pulpit. Brooks admits to same sex attractions. Also, he has the opportunity to follow Ted Haggard and lie, and keep lying, until proven guilty.
Truthfully, Eddie has so many examples from numerous outed pastors and elected officials.
Dennis Pragger said, “Because the moment McGreevey announced he was gay, people assumed he did what he did because a homophobic society forced him, a homosexual, to live a fraudulent heterosexual life.
Who then could blame him? If society forced you, dear heterosexual male reader, to live with a man all your life and deny yourself the physical love of a woman, wouldn’t you, too, eventually crack under the pressure and make love to a woman?
That is how at least half the country thinks about McGreevey now: “Well, he was wrong, and sure, he shouldn’t have given that man a six-figure-a-year job advising the governor of New Jersey on the life-and-death issue of security, but let’s be decent here. The guy’s gay, and he’s been living with a woman all his adult life.”
Nevertheless, one more hypocrite exposed. THE END!
