Oxycodone and Hydrocoden the New Crack Cocaine

In Uncategorized on January 31, 2010 at 6:59 pm

Obviously, Rush Limbaugh has gone back to illegally obtaining the prescription drugs oxycodone and hydrocoden. Now we know why he’s been divorced three times.

Watch Vivica Fox calm down Rush from his over-the-top and bizarre dance routine; she didn’t want to make the crucial decision whether or not to give Rush mouth-to-mouth if he had a heart attack next to her. Good job Vivica!

Youree Dell Cleomili Harris, better known by her television moniker Miss Cleo has moved to a new town in South Florida: Lake Worth, in Palm Beach County. Harris has also come out as a lesbian recently.

These days Miss Cleo offers her readings at the local coffeehouse, the Mother Earth, and she remains a vocal advocate for LGBT rights.

365 Day Without Sex Equals Divorce in MD

In Uncategorized on January 29, 2010 at 12:19 pm

Remember the movie War of the Roses?  I can easily see an upswing in domestic violence reports.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) – A Maryland lawmaker wants to allow courts to grant divorces to couples after they go a year without having sex instead of forcing them to live apart during the waiting period.

Montgomery County Delegate Luiz Simmons is behind the legislation. Simmons, an attorney, says he’s backing the measure to ease the initial financial burden for couples seeking a mutual, uncontested divorce.

Maryland divorce law currently requires many couples to live separately for a year before they can receive an uncontested divorce. Simmons says the cost of that requirement can be very challenging for some couples, especially when both parties must live in places large enough to accommodate children.

The measure would allow couples to remain in the same house if they’re not having sex during the yearlong waiting period.

Finally Black Republicans Attack Racist White Republicans

In Uncategorized on January 29, 2010 at 11:11 am

One Black Republicans urge more Black Republicans to speak up and out against the obvious racist slurs and attacks against the president. Article – Hip Hop Nation

“Not only do we have the first Black president of the country; this is the first time in our nation’s history that the State of the Union was given by a Black. This is an example of the best of America.

But, unfortunately, there are those who want to throw our country into a state of disunion. During one part of the president’s speech, he mentioned a specific ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that he disagreed with. The cameras happened to be panning the audience and zoomed in on Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

He could be seen shaking his head in disagreement and mouthing the words, “that’s not true.” What ever happened to people in positions of leadership exhibiting proper decorum and respect not only for the president, but also the office of the presidency? This footage has been shown all over the world. I never thought that a sitting member of the Supreme Court would bring shame to their institution. But, Alito has managed to do so. The state of Supreme Court etiquette is not courtly.

Listening to a lot of Republicans and right wing talk radio, one could get the impression that they are cheering for America’s demise solely for the purposes of winning an election. Radio host, Laura Ingraham has been harping all week that the state of the union is in “peril.”

She and many of her guests went on to say that they did not know if president Obama wanted America to remain a strong country or not. Regardless of your politics, no American president will ever do anything that would diminish the stature of our country. Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, etc, have all voiced and promoted the opposite notion. All Americans should be insulted and embarrassed at such rhetoric. The state of right wing talk radio is out of control.

A poll release by John Zogby showed that 70% of Republicans stated they were “ashamed” that Barak Obama was president (http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.cfm?ID=18040. That’s right 70%! I can’t help but to think some of this has a racial subtext to it. The state of race relations needs vast improvement.

One need look no further than the recent earthquake in Haiti. The racist, incendiary, heartless comments that came out of Rush Limbaugh’s mouth are unforgivable. Pat Robertson’s ignorant, asinine comments about Haiti being punished by God because they made a pact with the devil were pathetic. All the major TV networks except FOX agreed to simulcast a telethon to raise money for Haiti. I can’t help but think that if this tragedy had happened to a European country that FOX would have made a different decision. The state of TV is bleak. Read the rest of this entry »

Obama Bout Ta’ Shake, Rattle and Roll

In Uncategorized on January 28, 2010 at 12:41 pm

Obama and I have similiar traits: we’re nice guys who exercise diplomacy and professionalism at all times.  However, upon exhausting such tactics, that’s when we MUST put the foot down – ever so gently atop of your throat with increasing pressure – and the foot remains cutting the air supply until the desired outcome is achieved or you’ve expired. Yes, we are the nicest guys you would ever meet, but one should never erk nice guys. Unequivocally, contrary to popular belief, nice guys always finish first – not last.  We nice guys constrain the unleashing of our evil demon until absolutely necessary. And when the demon is unleashed – evil knows no mercy.

President Obama’s conservative speech gives the GOP the opportunity to stop whining and hoping the country fail. Now the president has extended yet another olive branch to the GOP. The president delivered an outstanding SOTU address; even the GOP response by Virginia’s McDonnell was simply concurring with the president. However, talking-head Chris Matthews, “I forgot he was black tonight,” deserves a serious azz kicking.

Now, about ending ENDA, I llike what Alvin McEwin had to say:

And yes, I noticed what he said about DADT. And I know that others noticed his mention of the commitment to overturn the policy.

Now before some of us start ruminating in that particular way which we do, I would ask that you remember the faces of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They weren’t exactly looking all that happy.

Maybe I am misinterpreting their desire not to show emotion, but then again, maybe I’m not.

Overturning DADT should happen and it will. But it won’t be easy. We should remember that. Instead of directing venom at Obama’s way because he “isn’t moving fast enough,” I would suggest that we continue to do what we do – and that is to exert pressure on the President. Remind him that we helped to get him elected and we lgbts as Americans deserve our rights.

But let’s not get caught away with the hyperbole. Yes, we are all tired of being second class citizens but talking about how sick and tired you are may make you feel good via facebook or the blogs, but it entails more than that.

To tell the truth though, I have been very disturbed by some folks’ overeagerness to paint the President as a “bigot.” He is pragmatic to the point of annoyance at times, but to call him names reveals a haste that’s not conducive to the community.

Meet Mr.Dumb and Mr.Dumber

In Uncategorized on January 28, 2010 at 4:37 am

I’d be too embarrassed to tell my mama I’m gonna have a hard time paying your house note now because I brought an arsenal of guns to the job. These two dudes make my gut tern. Honestly, every time I hear about this nonsense I think out loud: please give me millions a year and you’ll NEVER have no such foolishness outta me.  I applaud the NBA’s decision hit them hard in the wallet for the entire season.

NEW YORK (AP) — NBA commissioner David Stern has suspended Washington Wizards guards Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton for the remainder of the season for having guns in the locker room.

Saying possession of guns in the workplace “will not be tolerated,” Stern delivered the punishment on Wednesday after meeting with Arenas, turning his indefinite suspension into a suspension without pay.

Crittenton met with Stern on Tuesday and also was suspended without pay.

Arenas pleaded guilty on Jan. 15 to a felony gun charge after an alleged confrontation with Crittenton in the Wizards’ locker room at Verizon Center in Washington.

Arenas is scheduled to be sentenced on March 26. He’s in the second season of a six-year, $111 million contract.

Gay Marriage Beneficial to Children, Couple and Society

In Uncategorized on January 27, 2010 at 11:51 am

“David Blankenhorn has acknowledged that letting same-sex couples marry would be beneficial to the couples and their children. He also admitted that there are no studies showing that children of same-sex couples are worse off than children raised by heterosexual parents.

The Prop 8 proponents asked Judge Walker to accept David Blankenhorn as an expert in marriage, fatherhood, and family structures. But as plaintiffs’ attorney David Boies quickly made clear in his initial questioning, Blankenhorn lacked the usual qualifications for an expert witness in those areas. He has a bachelor’s degree in social science from Harvard and a master’s in the unrelated field of labor history from the University of Warwick in Coventry, England. He has no academic affiliation and has never taught at a college or university, and he has authored only two peer-reviewed publications, neither of which addressed marriage for same-sex couples. Judge Walker permitted Blankenhorn to testify, but noted that he might have ruled differently if this were a jury trial.

He also claimed that permitting same-sex couples to marry will lead to reduced rates of marriage by heterosexual people, higher rates of divorce, and more children born out of wedlock.

Blankenhorn did not claim to have any scientific data supporting that belief. Instead, he argued that letting same-sex couples marry might contribute to the “deinstitutionalization” of marriage, which he defined (rather vaguely) as any change that weakens “the rules” of marriage. He testified that marriage is a social institution, like baseball, and that when the rules are changed, fewer people will want to play. Blankenhorn stressed that he could not be sure that letting same-sex couples marry would have that effect, but he feared that it would.”

Pastor Ssempa: Ex-Gays Ate “Poo-Poo” from Anus

In Uncategorized on January 27, 2010 at 10:47 am

Unequivocally, the below ex-gay Black religious wingnuts should head to Uganda, join forces with pastor Martin Ssempa, and discuss how they once ate shit “poo-poo” from another mans anus:
1. pastor DL Foster
2. J Elijah, and
3. Rev Donnie McClurkin
These three ex gay men tell a story (lie) how they prayed gay away. But as any sane human knows – gay is innate and doesn’t go away. You can run, hide, and pray all day, but God is not in the business of alterations.

“Recently, pastor Martin Ssempa held a press conference, he was supposed to introduce two Ugandans who claimed to be “ex-gay,”but Ssempa’s action caused the press conference to end rather early:
Ssempa offered graphic images of sex as proof of the need for tough penalties against homosexuals. But midway through most of his audience walked out, some visibly disturbed, leaving him to wonder if he had done anything wrong.

A pornographic slideshow of black and white photographs of men engaging in scatological fetishism is revealed. “I’ve taken the time to research what homosexuals do in the privacy of their bedroom. It is inhuman, it is animalistic, and it cannot be right.”

“I want to say homosexuals eat each other’s poop. Homosexuals stick their hands into their rectum. Homosexuals stick all sorts of deviant sexual things into their rectum. I want to show you, you can see this man has just eaten the other person’s poo poo and is rubbing it on his mouth…”

Ssempa is vehemently professing to preach God’s word; therefore, why isn’t Donnie, DL Foster and the whole lot of professed ex-gay religionist joining forces with Ssempa? Just maybe these men still have a taste for some “poo-poo.”

All-Negro Comics

In Uncategorized on January 26, 2010 at 1:23 pm

When Orrin C. Evans died in 1971 at the age of 68 he was eulogized in the New York Times as ‘the dean of black reporters’. From our vantage point of another quarter century, we can also say he was the father of black comicbooks.
All Negro Comics # 1 carries a cover date of June 1947. No information about the press run or distribution remains, but it is believed that the comic was distributed outside of the Philadelphia area.

A second issue was planned and the art completed, but when Orrin was ready to publish he found that his source for newsprint would no longer sell to him, nor would any of the other vendors he contacted. Though Orrin was unyielding in his support of integration and civil rights he was moderate in his methods of achieving these goals. He believed in the general fairness of the system he had been born into. He was not a man given to conspiratorial thinking, but his family remembers that his belief was that there was pressure being placed on the newsprint wholesalers by bigger publishers and distributors who didn’t welcome any intrusions on their established territories.

Your Choice: Nigger or Negro on 2010 Census

In Uncategorized on January 25, 2010 at 11:38 am

I do not self-identiy as AFRICAN American.
First, I’m simply an American. But for data/census purpose – Black or Negro will do just fine.
Yes, certainly, it is my prerogative to select a social constructed label that I willingly wish to self-identify. It is the same reason I identify as Humanist and do not identify as theist. Answer: Too many of us Negros are blind conformist afraid to question or think critically. Therefore, such folks are our terrorist who act in the name of blind conformism. Is this you?

Why the census uproar? Too many “colored” people are afraid to complete the 2010 census due to phobias instilled by ignorant African Americans. They say giving too much information – the MAN will know how to find you. Believe it or not, this is pervasive ideology within many African American communities.

Also, maybe the younger generation is so accustom to calling each other Nigger/Nigga that now Negro sounds derogatory. My people!

“A fiery blast from the past is conjuring controversy in the new millennium. The word “negro” is now featured on an official U.S. document and now many are questioning if the Census Bureau is being insensitive.

It’s a word that many African Americans associate with segregation, so imagine how shocked many were to see it on the 2010 U.S. census form.

“The fact that it’s 2010 and they’re still putting ‘negro,’ I am a little offended,” said Secaucus resident Dawud Ingram.

Question #9 on the this year’s census asks about your race. One of the boxes you can choose is “black,” “African American,” or “negro,” all placed next to the same box. Ingram said it’s not a word he uses to identify neither himself nor anybody else.

“African Americans haven’t been going by the term ‘negro’ for decades now. It’s really confusing,” he said. Read the rest of this entry »
