I Gave Benny Hinn My Life Savings

In Uncategorized on March 11, 2010 at 11:19 am

Yeah, Right! Unfortunately, some folks have willingly delivered their life saving to a crook. Look at these Black folks in this pic. We are so gullible because of one simple fact; It’s so much easier for us Negros to believe than it is to think.   Madoff ain’t got nothing on Benn Hinn.

Hinn made a number of unfulfilled prophecies for the 90s, such as God destroying America’s homosexual community in 1995, the death of Fidel Castro, the election of the first female president of the USA, the East Coast of the United States being devastated by earthquakes.

Hinn also appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in October 1999 to claim that God had given him a vision that thousands of dead people would be resurrected after watching the network—laying out a scenario of people placing their dead loved ones’ hands on TV screens tuned into the station.

In December 2006, BHM sent out a mailing asking for donations towards a new Gulfstream G4SP jet valued at an estimated $36 million and costing over $600,000/year to maintain and operate.

WASHINGTON: On the first day that same-sex marriages were celebrated in the US capital. In addition to the federal capital district of Washington DC, gays can be legally wed in the states of Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

With police cars lining the streets outside the Human Rights Campaign building and a helicopter hovering overhead, Angelisa Young and Sinjoyla Townsend became the first same-sex couple to be wed in Washington, just days after the US capital began issuing marriage licences to gay couples.

I’m still awaiting the sky to fall, hell to open, fire to engulf the land and demons to takeover the planet. Yesterday, and today were just normal days! Gays marriage is legal in DC and nothing strange happened! So, what’s all the fuss about?

Marion Barry: A Legacy of No Damn Good

In Uncategorized on March 3, 2010 at 2:42 am

How appropriate! On the eve of the DC marriage equality bill, same-sex couples will be able to apply for marriage licenses starting tomorrow morning, Marion Barry, who voted against the marriage bill, was censured and his case referred to the US Attorney’s office to pursue criminal charges.

Twenty years since he went to prison for drug possession, former D.C. mayor Marion Barry was punished again for breaking the law on Tuesday, this time for illegally steering city contracts to his friends and his girlfriend.

Despite having admitted to steering the contracts, Barry railed against his colleagues Tuesday, calling Bennett’s report inaccurate.

Depending upon the outcome of the U.S. Attorney’s investigation, Barry could face a second round in the slammer.
